Krista + Joshua celebrated their wedding at the beautiful Fenway Hotel in Dunedin, Florida. After meeting through running sound together at church, their relationship grew as they spent more and more time together each week. Josh proposed in front of a lighthouse that Krista loved when they were stationed together in Mississippi and they shared vows privately surrounded by their parents in Nevada shortly before Josh had to deploy to Korea. While in Korea, Josh picked out a beautiful ruby ring and re-proposed to Krista on a trip to the mountains in North Carolina! Everything came together shortly after celebrating their first year of marriage together and they FINALLY got to celebrate their marriage alongside their friends + family like they had always dreamed of.
They fell in love with The Fenway Hotel from frequenting the rooftop bar and the fact that it combined her love of the water without being a beach venue. Andrews Memorial Chapel was the perfect fit for their ceremony to be able to share in a service honoring their faith. She walked down the aisle wearing her mother’s wedding gown from forty years ago and he waited for her dressed in a custom tuxedo made in Korea! What they wanted most was to celebrate with their family and it was their family that helped make this day come together as beautifully as it did. Their wedding advice to engaged couples – don’t be afraid to lean on your friends and family when planning your big day!
